• Looking for a Roleplay!

  I'm interested in getting into a Pokemon roleplay for fun. I've had plenty of experience with other roleplays, I've been roleplaying for 12 years, but honestly, I've never done a Pokemon one before. If there's a need for die rolling or anything in particular just give me a heads up and I'll be a quick learner. With me may come my fiance, who is new to digitally roleplaying. Possibly some other roleplay friends of mine would want to come along too.
  
  Roleplays I'd have interest in are:
  

  • A good balance of talking and combat. It doesn't make sense to me to have a pokemon roleplay with no pokemon battles in it.. But of course I also like the "slice of life" portion and the Heroic/Villainous discussing things portions.
  • I've designed my Pokemon for THIS level or only slighty higher (30 - 40) if a roleplay reallly desires it. I will not go any higher even if that makes Nixie the weakest in the roleplay.
  • I am fine with playing Nixie as another trainer's rival or antagonist (if you need one) so long as you don't expect me to go out of her personality range. She's not going to be hitler.
  • Trainers with pokemon, trainers just starting out, wild pokemon or heck, people that aren't pokemon trainers are all fine by me in a roleplay.
  • No Crossovers. I'd like to experience a 100% pokemon roleplay before I try any sort of crossover.
  •Romance can be in the roleplay but don't expect me to join as a love interest. I'll only have my character interested in someone if it makes sense for her.

• Nixie's Notes on Her Pokemon

  

  
  Latte is a sweet boy. He loves team battles the most even though his favorite other pokemon on my team, Fritter, no where near strong enough to stand beside Latte.
  
  Chili is a very competitive and, at times, vicious girl. Well, at least to other pokemon and what's wrong with that? Chili is well-mannered enough with me.
  
  Calamari has won my heart. He may not be my first Pokemon but he's nice to just relax next to. Still, I wish he was always in the mood to train and battle, he'll rarely do so if he hasn't eaten or had a nap yet!
  
  Fritter is my first ever (and only) shiny Pokemon and I know that makes me a lucky girl to have a shiny Pokemon at all but why, OH WHY, did she have to be a fire Pokemon?? I guess at least she can reheat my coffee...
  
  Scampi is probably my most reliable Pokemon. It is quick to response and is always looking to please. Hell, Scampi once saved me from being pulled out in a riptide! That's why I wear Scampi's Pokeball on my neck, so I'm prepared if something like that ever happens again...
  
  Velvet, oh Velvet... She's my first Pokemon and definitely holds a special place in my heart but the worst thing I ever could have done was teach her attract... Now that's the only move she likes to do, I haven't been able to train or battle her smoothly in several years!

• A bit of History

  

  
  Despite enjoying water and getting to swim during the summer time in pools, Nixie was not born near the water. She was born in a town at the base of a mountain, far far away from any large source of water. Neither of Nixie's parents were Pokemon Trainers, they were both bakers and from them she did learn to love cooking but it was very clear to everyone that her true dream was to leave home someday and be a Pokemon Trainer.
  
  On her tenth birthday she did not go out and receive a starter Pokemon. Hell, of all the Pokemon out there, she didn't even know what type of pokemon she liked. Her parents did give her the needed amount of Pokeballs to get her started when she met the one she desired. It wasn't until the family went on vacation to a beach town did Nixie fall in love with water.
  
  Quickly in her visits to the ocean during that week vacation, she met a wild Corsola that was quite friendly. Nixie spent her entire vacation in the water from there on, swimming with the Corsola. She brought that Corsola home as her first Pokemon and named her "Velvet".
  
  From then on, Nixie loved Water Pokemon the most and then gained equal love for Ice Pokemon during the winters she and Velvet explored the snowy mountain. She decided that during that time that she wanted to be a Gym Leader someday. Nixie is still on her quest to reach her dream.
